The small room reverb is used to create the sense of space without a noticeable reverb tail. I didn't appreciate how important this type of reverb is with acoustic guitar based music until I worked on this reverb. For me, it is now essential.
This algorithm is based on the small room algorithm from the DP4, but now runs at 44.1 or 48 kilohertz on the ESP2 chips on the PARIS EDS1000 card, with full 24 bit in and out.
It also comes with a presets file that includes the following:
Medium Room,
Dark Room,
Dark Drum Room,
70s Drum Booth,
Tiled Room, and
Backstage.
